Update - Well, it's been done. Despite the marching and the pleas. I'm not single anymore, but if I were to become pregnant at my age, I would absolutely want an abortion. If my trans son had an oops or gods forbid got raped - he would need an abortion. None of us may have the option in a few weeks. And in some states, if we even were to try and go out of state for an abortion - we might wind up being charged? Because we don't want to subject our body to pregnancy? Because psychologically it would destroy some people who are trans men to be pregnant? Because we can't afford a child and our government doesn't want to help us pay for their raising, food, or medical bills? Every woman who carries a pregnancy to term has their bodies, emotions, and minds changed forever. We should get to decide if we are willing to deal with that. Not a bunch of strangers, many of whom don't even understand female physiology.
