This is a current meme running rampant on social media platforms.

I’m an independent — non-affiliated voter — in politics. I feel like it’s obvious where I stand on most issues.

In case you don’t know, I feel like all people should have basic human rights to help them achieve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

We should all contribute to our culture and our government and act civilly around one another to achieve a successful society, despite having differences of opinion. In the proper format, we should be able to safely debate topics.

A person’s basic rights and freedoms, their worth — is not up for debate.

So long as they are not harming other people, they should have freedom of speech. Everyone should have access to healthcare; their healthcare should be their business, and decisions should me made between them and their provider.

Everyone should have access to a standard education with the option to put in extra years for a college degree or certification in a trade or health services.

Everyone should have access to the basics for living. If you have worked to make more than the basics, great! Enjoy! But everyone deserves a living wage that keeps up with the times and inflation. Everyone should…
