Hey guys, just having a kind of “off” day. I’m not sure how many of you can relate, so I thought I’d go on social media and maybe even my blog sites and mention it. Why? Because I’m curious. I know no one likes to be the only person who experiences something.

This is not a restful day. That’s not what I mean by “off” day. It’s when your brain doesn’t want to work correctly and so you wind up spacing out or even not feeling well. For me, I sometimes get “loopy” and feel like I’m moving through a mental fog. The mental fog is thick.

I’ve had this happening for years, but it’s gotten worse since 40, and also I noticed (per my journaling) that it increased much more after my radiation therapy. So,if anyone has experienced chemo or radiation therapy and also an increase in these kinds of days, please let me know.

I’ve talked to medical folks about it, and apparently the cause can be so many things that I wonder if I should even bother with trouble shooting my body anymore, ya know?

To be clear, I’ve already tested blood sugar (within normal parameters) and blood pressure (also normal). And these seem to be what the doctors are always worried about. No worries there.

I actually did some work this morning, then went back to sleep for 2 hours. Now I feel better, so I’m gonna try to do more. I’m not pushing myself like I normally would on days like this.

Days like this mean I may not be social — no streams and no chatting — since I may not remember things or I may say things incorrectly. Again — brain fog.

Also, if anyone you know has this or you’re one of my pals or clients and I mention this, forgive us all for not jumping into an endeavor with you. The truth for me is, I would rather take a little longer to accomplish something than push myself and do it incorrectly.

Anyway, I wanted to say that if you feel this way sometimes, you’re not alone. If you want to comment on your own “off” days — feel free. I may not reply til later, but we’re all friends here.

Don’t forget to subscribe to my articles! I post on the subjects that engage my passion, from politics to personal awareness, to writing, to paganism, and much, much more!
