The United States will have to codify it or it will be ended as a safe medical procedure. These state politicians have become walls and there is no arguing with them. They don't even believe facts anymore. I'm becoming more and more aware that this country is regressing since 2015. We can fight only so hard. But we can fight.
So...true... Therapy is the playground for narcisistic personalities and abusers. An audience and a stage that provides a victimhood card. Don't engage more than just having the catharsis of writing about your emotions on the subject.
It bothers me that therapy can be weaponized by abusers, too. How many times have I heard family members toss out the phrase, "But they're going to therapy. Give them some credit." Call me cynical, but, no. An abuser going to therapy does not change the abusive behavior or apathy they may have toward other people that cannot provide them with what they seek.
Good point. File this away with "natural talent." Yes, I had a talent. But I practiced and grew that talent into a skill.
This is sound advice. If you can't explain your story and categorize it, how are you ever going to find your audience? And without an audience... well, you know. Sure, I'd love to be as well known as a lot of classic authors - but a lot of classic authors died penniless and nearly unknown in their time. I kind of like the idea of making enough money to at least survive on and pay for the creation of the book itself.
